[Mrs. Brown, her mother], Frank J. Coleman [the prison warden], Albert Austin [the Brown butler], Toraichi Kono [the Brown chauffeur], Loyal Underwood [a party guest], [?] Monta Bell? [the prison guard in the kitchen], [?] May White?

Totheroh. / © 1917 by Lone Star Corporation. Released 23 October 1917. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The production was shot in the Lone Star Studio in Hollywood, California, and on location. Campbell’s last film before his death. The last of Chaplin’s 12 film Mutual contract pictures. The film was rereleased in the USA by Chaplin Classics, Incorporated, circa 1922. Cast attributions for John Rand and Phyllis Allen appear to be in error. The film was rereleased in the USA by RKO Radio Pictures in the 1930s.

Comedy.

Survival status: Prints exist in the Library of Congress film archive [35mm diacetate positive]; in the Cinémathèque Royale de Belgique film archive [35mm nitrate positive]; and in the Archives françaises du film (CNC) film archive (Lobster Films collection) [35mm nitrate positive]; and in private film collections [16mm reduction positives].
