Synopsis: [From Edison promotional materials] Shows the crew of a Japanese battleship working a gun during the engagement of Chemulpo Bay. The Russian cruiser “Variag,” and gunboat “Koreitz,” are seen coming out of the harbor. As soon as they appear in the open sea they are attacked by the Japanese fleet, and after receiving a fierce fire from the enemy’s guns, they endeavor to return to port, but both sink before reaching the bay.
