Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? He had so many toys that they bored him. What he wanted was a baby brother or sister. Chance threw in his way a tremendous bargain, a perfectly good baby for exchange, cheap. It came about in this way: The pretty lady at the kindergarten asked the children to bring toys for distribution among the kiddies who had no playthings. One little girl had nothing to offer but her baby sister. When teacher refused the gift she went home tearfully. Bobby met her on the way and bartered his duck and rabbit for her baby. With the aid of his grandfather he put baby to bed and got milk from the kitchen to feed her. The baby’s mother, who worked out by the day for Bobby’s mother and other housekeepers, would not abide by the bargain and claimed her child. They found baby. Bobby and grandpa asleep, and told Bobby that the deal was off. Nothing daunted, he claimed the little girl for playmate, dressed her in one of his clean white rompers, and came down to dinner, where they all had a glorious time, including baby and her mother.
