Famous Players Film Company production; distributed by Paramount Pictures Corporation. / Scenario by Eve Unsell, from the play adaptation The Dawn of a Tomorrow by Frances Hodgson Burnett of the novel The Dawn of a Tomorrow by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Presented by Daniel Frohman. / Released 7 June 1915. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The film was rereleased in the USA by Famous Players-Lasky Corporation on 26 January 1919. The novel was subsequently filmed as The Dawn of a Tomorrow (1924). In later years, Pickford thought (as noted in Eyman-Pickford p. 79) that this film had burnt in the Famous Players New York studio fire on 11 September 1915 along with the film The Foundling (1915).
