Synopsis: A marching sentry is guarding a wall that is painted “Défense d’afficher” (Post No Bills). A posterman sneaks to the wall and pastes up his advertising bill. A second posterman comes along and glues his poster over the previous ad. The two rival postermen tussle over the affront, then slip away undetected by the sentry. The sentry’s commander arrives and is irate about the posters applied to the wall, rebukes the sentry, then leads him away.
