Dickson and William Heise. / No copyright registration. / This experimental motion-picture process was shot on photosensitive paper sheets wrapped around a rotating cylinder. The production was shot [?] in June 1889 (according to Paul C. Spehr) or circa 21-27 November 1890 (according to Gordon Hendricks)? outside the ore-milling outhouse (building 4) at the Edison Laboratory in West Orange, New Jersey. Musser control number 1.
Experimental.
Synopsis: A distant view of a single performer.
Survival status: Prints exist in the Edison National Historic Site film collection; and in the Library of Congress film archive.
