Synopsis: [From Vitagraph promotional materials] Hugh goes to sea; before going her give Nancy his pet dog. The ship on which he sails is wrecked. After months of travel, he returns to his home town. His sweetheart has moved from her old home to an obscure part of the settlement, but her finds her through meeting the dog who recognizes Hugh and leads him to Nancy’s home.
