Carl Bennett (far left) was a member of the Northwest Baseball Umpires Association, located in the Seattle area, from 1997 through 2001. The organization is the largest umpire association in Washington state and officiates local baseball games from Division 1 NCAA College baseball to men’s recreational leagues baseball to all greater Seattle area high school baseball.
This picture was taken during a 1999 charity baseball game at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma (home of the Tacoma Rainiers, AAA franchise team of the Seattle Mariners).
