Died 16 November 1927 in Alhambra, California, USA, of double pneumonia.

Married cinematographer Duke Zalibra, 12 December 1917; divorced 1922.
Married Richard Collins, 12 December 1924; until Claire’s death, 16 November 1927.

Claire Alexander began her film career working for Fine Arts Film Company. Alexander also worked for Famous Players Film Company (1915), Cub Comedies (circa 1916), Keystone Film Company and Triangle Film Corporation.
