Gladys Hanson began her professional career in 1907 appearing in the Charles Frohman Company in Philadelphia. She began film work in 1914 for Famous Players Film Company, and worked for Lubin Manufacturing Company and The Universal Film Manufacturing Company, Incorporated, in 1915, and Essanay in 1916. Her brief film career came to a close after appearing in National Red Cross Pageant (1917).
