Mary Nolan

Born 18 December 1905 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, as Mary Imogene Robertson.
Died 31 October 1948 in Hollywood, California, USA, of heart failure due to secobarbital overdose.
Married Wallace T. McCreary, 29 March 1931; divorced, July 1932.
Mary Nolan began her entertainment career in Ziegfeld’s Follies under the stage name Imogene Wilson. After a bitter scandal as the other woman in an affair with comedian Frank Tinney, Mary worked in films in Germany under the name Imogene Robertson, including Das Panzergewölbe (1926).
Returning to America, Mary appeared in Hollywood films produced by Feature Productions, Incorporated (1927), Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (1928-1929), Universal Pictures Corporation (1928-1929) and Paramount Famous Lasky Corporation (1929). Her short film career ended in 1932.
Eventually battered by financial woes, health problems and heroin addiction, Nolan died at the age of 42.
