Eve Southern

Born 23 August 1898 in Ranger, Texas, USA, as Elva L. McDowell.
Died 29 November 1972 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

Married Robert F. Shepherd, 24 June 1925; divorced, 4 May 1928.

Eve Southern may have begun her motion picture career as an extra in Intolerance (1916). She appeared in more than 35 films throughout the next 20 years, including for Regal Pictures, Incorporated (1924). Her retirement came prematurely when Eve was in an automobile accident that broke her back.
