Greta de Groat

Lifelong silent film buff Greta de Groat is the author of “Rediscovering Norma Talmadge,” which appeared in Griffithiana (number 71, 2001), and is the creator of the “Unsung Divas” website, which includes sites on Norma Talmadge, Clara Kimball Young, Pauline Frederick and Alice Joyce.

Greta is the Electronic Media Cataloger at Stanford University Libraries, where she catalogs video recordings and electronic resources. She is active in professional organizations in the areas of cataloging standards and training.
