The Granada Theatre was a first-run house, and operated as such from November 1921 through January 1931. In May 1929, the orchestra was conducted by Gino Severi, with Oliver Wallace as house organist. In the latter 1920s, the theatre was purchased by Fox.
On 31 January 1931, the theatre was acquired by Paramount Publix and the theatre’s name was changed to the Paramount Theatre, a name under which it operated until 1965.
