The Warfield Theatre was a first-run house named in honor of actor David Warfield, friend of Marcus Loew.
The theatre later became known as the Fox-Warfield Theatre.
The Warfield Theatre was sold to Bill Graham Presents circa 1979-1980, and is currently operating as a venue for live music performances.
