This Blu-ray Disc edition has been digitally mastered from a fine-grain 35mm restoration print that originates from an export version of the film with French language intertitles.
The film is accompanied by the original monaural soundtrack presented in uncompressed audio. Alternately, the film is presented with audio commentary by film historian Richard Koszarski.
The disc includes The Last Performance (1929) starring Conrad Veidt and the reconstruction version of Fejos’ musical Broadway (1929).
The supplemental material includes a 32-page booklet featuring essays by film critic Philip Lopate and historian Graham Petrie and an excerpt from a 1962 interview with Paul Fejos.
