This propaganda drama, adapted from a novel by Thomas Dixon and rereleased as Shattered Dreams, was directed by Harley Knoles. This DVD-R edition has been mastered from a very-good 16mm reduction print of the Shattered Dreams rerelease version of Bolshevism on Trial (1919), which credits some changed actor names and character names. The print is dark at times, which makes reading some intertitles a challenge.
The film is accompanied by a music score of compiled preexisting music from older motion picture soundtracks.
