This DVD edition has been digitally mastered from an excellent 35mm print. The edition has been produced for home video by Serge Bromberg and Eric Lange of Lobster Films, Paris, with the USA DVD produced by David Shepard.
The presentation features two optional musical accompaniments: a contemporary jazz score by clarinetist Michel Portal, and period French piano music performed by Neal Kurz. Our preference is for the piano score.
This out-of-print DVD is our recommended home video edition of the film.
