This DVD-R edition has been mastered chiefly from a very-good 16mm reduction print with foreign language intertitles. The source print has a significant amount of dust, speckling, print splices, exposure fluctuations, processing flaws, emulsion scrapes and other damage. Missing footage in the main source print has been inserted with footage from another (overexposed) print with beginning nitrate decomposition. New video-based English intertitles replace the foreign-language intertitles of the main source print. Some digital image compression artifacts will only be seen by hawk-eyed video nerds.
The film is accompanied by an entertaining music score performed on piano by Ben Model.
This out-of-print edition was provided to Kickstarter backers after project completion (with, I believe, some copies sold on iOffer.com) and was later rereleased in the Grapevine Video editions noted above.

This DVD-R edition has likely been mastered from a 16mm reduction print. Picture quality is indicated by this publisher-provided still frame.
The film is likely presented with a music score compiled from preexisting orchestral recordings.
It needs to be noted that on other video releases by Alex Staykov a faint “SHF-E” digital watermark appears in the lower right-hand corner of the picture to discourage pirating of this edition.
An extremely overpriced home video option given the value for the cost asked.
