This DVD edition has been mastered from very-good 35mm source print materials that are marked with a light haze of print wear, speckling, dust and schmutz.
The film is accompanied by a music score composed and performed on piano by Jon C. Mirsalis.
The supplementary section includes Fairbanks home movies, an excerpt from a Pathé newsreel featuring Fairbanks vs. Jack Dempsey, an introduction to the film by Orson Welles, an excerpt from Fairbanks’ 1918 book Making Life Worthwhile.
Currently, this is the best available home video edition of the film and is recommended.

This budget DVD edition has been mastered from a very-good 16mm reduction print, which has been transferred to windowbox format at a natural speed. With 16mm prints often overcropping the surviving image from the 35mm source print, windowboxing the transfer allows as much of the image area to be viewed on all television monitors.
The film is accompanied by a music score compiled from the soundtracks of a number of early sound films.
