Our first look at this out-of-print DVD edition shows that it has been transferred in a windowboxed format from an excellent 35mm print held by the George Eastman Museum. The disc has been mastered from an analog videotape transfer prepared for the 1993 Lumivision laserdisc edition. In the late 1990s, SlingShot purchased the Lumivision home video masters and released a small number of Lumivision editions on DVD.
The film is accompanied by a synthesizer and digital piano music score that is serviceable but not very pleasing.
This is still the best-looking home video edition of the film available.
