This DVD-R edition has been produced from the surviving 35mm prints of chapters five, 12 and 15, with a reconstruction of the first chapter compiled from the original novelization of the serial and production stills. The Serial Squadrom notes that this edition was upgraded in December 2018.
The presentation features a new musical accompaniment performed on digital keyboards by Kevin McLeod.
As a companion piece, the Serial Squadron has also produced a book of the original novelization illustrated with more than 200 stills held in private collections, the Library of Congress, the British Library, the Princeton University Firestone Library, and Ithaca-Made Movies of Ithaca, New York.
