The Pony
Express
(1925)
|
This western drama, directed by James Cruze, stars Betty Compson and Ricardo Cortez, with Ernest Torrence, Wallace Beery, George Bancroft, Frank Lackteen, John Fox Jr. and William Turner.
Director Cruze attempts to recreate the success of The Covered Wagon (1923) with a cast of veteran character actors that are more engaging than the romantic leads.
