This DVD edition has been mastered from an archival 35mm print. The visual quality of images varies depending the condition of the footage when acquired by director Vertov for the film. For the most part, the source print is very-good, with some dust and speckling, fine vertical scratches, mild frame jitters, processing flaws, and other issues.

The film is accompanied by a music score composed and performed on synthesizers by Eric Beheim.

Supplemental material includes a 28-page insert booklet with short essays and notes on the films by Maxim Pozdorovkin and Ana Olenina.

This is our recommended home video edition of the film, which may be the only disc released. The collection is now out-of-print.
