This DVD-R edition has been mastered from an analog video transfer prepared in 1998 (initially for release on VHS videotape) from a fine-grain 16mm reduction print held in the Blackhawk Films collection. As should be expected, the transfer is not up to modern standards for image detail, being overall a bit coarse. The print itself has moderate speckling and dust, sprocket damage, emulsion scuffing and scrapes, but the greyscale range is reasonably balanced for acceptable viewing.
The film is presented with an electronic organ music score performed by Bob Vaughn.
The supplemental material is a slideshow collection of posters for Hart films, lobby cards, portraits, film stills, glass advertising slides and playing cards (45 images).
This edition will be hard to find and is not recommended in the wake of better-looking home video editions released after this DVD.
