The film is accompanied by a piano score composed and performed by Stephen Horne. Also included is a British Film Institute and BBC documentary, directed by David Thompson, on British films of the silent era.

This PAL DVD edition of Anthony Asquith’s A Cottage on Dartmoor (1929) has been mastered from the 2006 British Film Institute 35mm restoration of the film, produced by Erich Sargeant.
The film are presented with a music score performed on piano by Stephen Horne.
The supplemental material includes Rush Hour (1941) an Asquith comedy film about workers coping with the British transportation system during World War II, Insight (1960) a study of Asquith at work with production footage and interviews, and an illustrated booklet including essays by Bryony Dixon and Geoffrey Macnab.
North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition.
