This PAL DVD edition was prepared from a very-good to excellent 35mm restoration print that was produced in 2004.
The film is accompanied by an abstractly modern keyboards, guitars, percussion, electronics and vocalized music score composed by Marlene Kuntz that is not at all connected to the film’s narrative. Some viewers will find that they absolutely hate the accompanying music, some will be tolerant but likely not entertained. But, if the music is your cup of tea, there is also a featurette (in Italian) on the music score with interviews with the performing musicians.
North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition. The Region 0 DVD is playable in North American computers.
