This DVD-R edition has been mastered from a fair to good 16mm reduction print, which is contrasty with an overall grey tone. Highlight details are lost, as are details in shadow areas. The exposures from shot-to-shot fluctuate and some single shots flicker with exposure fluctuations. The resolution of the source print is not high, but the sound-speed video transfer reproduces what details remain.
The film is accompanied by the synchronized orchestral music and sound effects soundtrack from the rerelease print. The silly sound effects add to the comic effect of the film.
